Operations Executive – Agritech

About the Role

The Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational activities of the organization. This role ensures that internal processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals. The Operations Executive works cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, sales, and administration teams to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Order processing: Handle customer orders, returns and communications.
• Supply Chain & Procurement: Oversee sourcing, vendor negotiations, and procurement of agricultural inputs ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels across multiple locations; minimize stockouts and overstock situations for high-velocity SKUs.
• Fulfillment & Logistics: Manage last-mile delivery, and order fulfillment workflows to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure our operations meet Bangladesh agricultural regulatory standards and fulfil regulatory requirements.
• Data & Reporting: Track KPIs including fulfillment rate, inventory turnover, cost per order, and supplier performance; present insights to leadership.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and tech teams to align operational capacity with campaign and growth plans.
• B2B Operations: Manage wholesale catalog operations, bulk order processing, and B2B customer fulfillment workflows.

Requirements

• 1+ years of operations experience, preferably in agritech, agribusiness, FMCG, or e-commerce
• Diploma in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BS Ag) or similar
• Strong understanding of agricultural supply chains in Bangladesh
• Experience managing logistics partners and warehouse operations
• Proficiency in inventory systems; familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Bangladesh agricultural regulations
